These are the trip reports that I have been able to find. Google has been disappointing (very unusual!), most searches produce a large number of ski reports, and of commercial tours. Still, the reports I have found should give a good idea of what is to be expected.

& Jackie Kennedy's Haute Route trip report, September 5 - 19,
1998. Traditional route until Les Haudères, where snow and tiredness
made them take public transport to Grimenz, where they stayed two
days. More snow, so they took the train to Zermatt, then returned to
St-Nicklaus, from where they walked to Grächen, then to Saas Fe.

Judy's 2001 Walkers' Haute Route Page. Since they had previously
done the Tour du Mont Blanc (twice, once in each direction) they
started at Champex, following Kev Reynold's route. They found lots of
snow in mid-July, so much so that they aborted the trip at La Sage.
The photos are really strange for mid-July!

Lordier's trip report in French. His trip is based on advice from
the Valais Tourist Office and the Valais Hiking association, so it is
quite similar to that they describe in their brochure, but he made some
modifications. Interesting in that he did it from Zermatt to
Chamonix, a rare reverse traverse!
There was a lot of snow in July of 2001, and he describes how he struggled through deep soft snow, sinking to his waist at times, between the Col de Prafleuri and the Col de la Louvie. Finally he decided to bail out, going down valley to the Lac de Cleuson, and from there going to Verbier by a combination of ski lifts. A fascinating and different account! - Dawn
DuPriest's Haute Route trip report, September 2 - 15, 2002.
Followed the Kev Reynold approach the whole way, taking the Europaweg
to Zermatt. Detailed, with many photographs. The site has a table
of coordinates of some significant points along the trip.
He spent a day going from Champex to the Cabanes of Orny and Trient.
Took the train to Le Chable, then climbed to Cabane du Mont Fort.
Unusual approach to Cabane de Moiry: went over the Col de la Couronne
(no waymarks) and then crossed the glacier to the Cabane. From Zinal
made a side trip to Cabane d'Ar Pitetta before continuing. Again,
from Gruben/Meiden to St-Nicklaus he made a detour over the
Schwarzhorn. Train from St-Nicklaus to Zermatt, a few days of hiking
in Zermatt. - Jo

Society, pretty much straigh from the book.
- Walker's
Haute Route, France/Switzerland, June 23 to July 11, 2005, by
Steph Abegg.
- Ken Baldry's
Chamonix to Zermatt page. Unlike the others, who did the trip in
one year, Ken did different segments in different years.
- David Preston did it over two years, Chamonix to La Sage
in late July 2006 and La Sage to Zermatt in
late July 2007. More pictures than text.
- Haute
Route - Sept 2007, took camping gear with them though they did not
often get a chance to use it!
- While not an Haute Route page, Sue and Martin's Tour du Mont Blanc does what I hope to attempt: keep as close to the high mountains as possible. Includes a crossing of the Col de la Breya.
